MAbs Module 4: Become an advoCAT by partnering with pet caregivers in the management of feline arthritic pain

August 15, 2025

CommuniVET now offers a new section dedicated to Registered Veterinary Technicians/Technologists (RVT). In partnership with Zoetis, training in 4 modules will be done by CommuniVET exclusively for RVTs, in 2024-2025, on monoclonal antibodies (mAbs).

This final module in the 4-part RVTips learning series on monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) focuses on arthritis in feline patients and highlights RVTs’ essential role to provide strategies to champion a team approach to arthritis management and unite around a common goal to help more cats live their best life.

This 30-minutes interactive module includes narration, videos, clickable resources, and quiz questions — designed to keep you engaged and learning actively.

By the end of this module, RVTs will be able to:

  • Differentiate feline arthritis from canine arthritis.
  • Describe their key role as an RVT before, during, and after the diagnostic workup, step by step.
  • Provide strategies to champion a team approach to feline arthritis management and unite around a common goal to help more cats live their best life.
