Looking for a change of pace from regular practice? We are an accredited veterinary facility but we practice only rehabilitation medicine and we are looking to expand our team! Rehab is a rewarding field with the best clients and patients that make you think outside the box.
The ideal candidate is fun-loving, eager to learn new skills and not afraid to get wet! We have a 10’x18′ heated indoor swimming pool for hydrotherapy, a fully equipped therapeutic exercise gym and all the modalities you would find in a human physiotherapy clinic (TENS/NMES, LASER, therapeutic ultrasound and focused extracorporeal shockwave therapy). We don’t do any in-house diagnostics so RVTs are responsible for carrying out treatments as prescribed by our therapists, working with dogs (and even some cats) in the gym and/or pool, assisting in appointments or at the front desk and, of course, the less glamorous side…cleaning. Certification in companion animal rehab is not required but rehab experience is definitely an asset. All training will be provided. Start date is flexible as this is a new position.
