Bell Animal Hospital is seeking a motivated and dedicated Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team. This is a full-time position with an anticipated start date of September 2026.
Primary duties of this contract position include:
- Maintain active registration and good standing as a Registered Veterinary Technician (previous experience considered an asset)
- Assist veterinarians with examinations, surgical procedures, and other medical treatments.
- Take and process radiographs; Perform routine laboratory tests; Obtain blood samples from patients.
- Admit and discharge patients, ensuring post-discharge instructions are clearly communicated to clients.
- Clean, pack and autoclave all surgical instruments.
- Assist with inventory management of medical supplies, medications, and products.
- Strong knowledge of Avimark software is a must with proficiency in MS Word & Excel.
- Provide administrative support and coverage for the Clinic Administrator when required, including reception and point-of-sale transactions
- Offer compassionate support to patients and their families
- Work week is approximately 35-40 hours with schedule flexibility during
Pay rate is based on experience.
