King Hopkins Pet Hospital is looking for two Registered Veterinary Technicians (RVTs) to join our growing team.
We are a busy, multi-doctor 24-hour hospital providing both emergency and general practice services. We care for cats, dogs, pocket pets, and exotics. While we are a fast-paced emergency hospital, we also have a loyal client base that trusts us with their pets’ routine care.
About Our Hospital
Our hospital is fully equipped with:
Digital radiography
Hands-free radiology protocols
Cold laser therapy
In-house IDEXX laboratory, including SediVue and blood gas analyzers
Dental radiography
Ultrasound
Our RVTs play an integral role in patient care and work closely with our veterinarians and hospital team.
Position Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
Placing IV catheters
Inducing and monitoring anesthesia
Performing dental cleanings and dental charting
Collecting blood and urine samples for analysis
Assisting veterinarians with appointments and procedures
Performing hands-free radiographs
Providing compassionate nursing care to hospitalized patients
Scheduling and other patient-care-related responsibilities as required
Monitoring hospitalized and emergency patients
Maintaining accurate medical records and patient treatment plans
Positions Available
Overnight Registered Veterinary Technician who is available to work a flexible schedule, with a primary focus on overnight shifts.
Registered Veterinary Technician who is available to work a flexible schedule, including a combination of day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts as needed.
As a 24-hour hospital, flexibility is important. We strive to offer scheduling flexibility whenever possible and work with team members to accommodate scheduling preferences.
Our standard shifts are 10 hours, with 12-hour shifts also available for those who prefer them.

Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)

Strong communication and organizational skills
Compassionate approach to patient care and client service
Ability to work effectively as part of a multi-doctor veterinary team
Ability to work in a fast-paced emergency and general practice environment
Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays as required
Compensation
$25.00–$29.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
A wage review will be conducted following the 3-month probationary/training period.
