As a Registered Veterinary Technician, you will play an important role in all aspects of patient care, including anesthetic monitoring, dentistry, laboratory procedures, diagnostic imaging, nursing care, client education and supporting veterinarians in providing the highest standard of medical care through a team-based approach.
Qualifications we are looking for:
- Minimum of one year of clinical experience
- Strong knowledge in anesthesia, including experience implementing multimodal anesthetic protocols using a variety of anesthetic and analgesics, as well as monitory patients with end-tidal CO2 and ECG
- Ability to obtain standardized orthopedic and dental radiographs
- Ability to communicate with compassion and professionalism while demonstrating honesty and integrity
- Strong oral and written communication skills; French is an asset
- Ability to balance working independently on medical procedures (such as anesthesia monitoring, laboratory work, and client education) while collaborating effectively with veterinarians and support staff
- Enjoys all aspects of surgery, urgent care, wellness and medicine
