The Kingsway Animal Hospital is an owner-operated small animal practice located in the beautiful Kingsway neighbourhood of Etobicoke. We are currently seeking a full-time Registered Veterinary Technician (40 hours/week) to join our team. Pay is commensurate with experience, and ranges from $24-28/hr. Start date would be as soon as possible.

As an RVT at The Kingsway Animal Hospital, you will play an integral role in patient care and client service. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting veterinarians during appointments, procedures, and surgeries
- Preparing patients for surgery, including sedation, IV catheter placement, and anesthesia induction
- Monitoring anesthesia and patient recovery
- Performing radiology and dental radiology procedures
- Collecting and preparing laboratory samples
- Conducting in-house diagnostics including urinalysis and cytology preparation
- Providing client education, support, and discharge instructions
- Participating in patient admissions, discharges, and follow-up care
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
- Is a Registered Veterinary Technician in good standing
- Demonstrates compassion and professionalism with patients and clients
- Enjoys working collaboratively within a team environment
- Is dependable, organized, and detail-oriented
- Takes initiative and enjoys learning
- Brings a positive attitude and strong communication skills to the workplace
