Buck Animal Hospital in Waterloo is looking for a RVT to join our fun, fast paced 7 doctor, privately owned small animal hospital. We are Fear Free Certified and a Cat Friendly Practice. If you enjoy surgery then this job is for you!! You will be helping with surgery every morning with surgery prep, anaesthesia, monitoring of patients, surgical assistance, dental prophylaxis and digital radiology.

The ideal candidate will be friendly, compassionate and be able to work independently, as well as a team player. This current open position will provide ample opportunity to use and develop your skills as our hospital uses the latest technology, surgery prep, anaesthesia, monitoring of patients, digital radiographs, laser surgery, laser therapy and in house IDEXX laboratory.
Along with being responsible for client education, weight and diet consults, post-op surgery discharges, post-surgery updates, parasite monitoring and prevention.

Hours are Monday and Tuesday 9am to 6pm, Wednesday 10:30am to 7:30pm, Thursday and Friday 9 am to 6pm, Saturday – one per month 9 am to 4pm, then you have the following Friday off
