Are you an RVT who loves the idea of building something meaningful from the ground up?

SOUTHDALE ANIMAL HOSPITAL is a brand-new, privately owned veterinary practice opening in London, Ontario, founded by a local veterinarian who is passionate about delivering high-quality medicine, a strong client experience, and real community impact through independent ownership.

We are looking for a self-starter RVT to join as a founding team member and help shape the culture, protocols, and everyday flow of the clinic from day one. Why This Role Is Different
This isn’t a “plug in and follow the system” position, since you will be part of building the system! As a founding RVT, you will work closely with the veterinarian owner to:

• Develop and refine protocols and workflows
• Help set up and streamline daily processes
• Contribute to creating a supportive team environment
• Help build a strong brand and reputation in the London community
• Be part of building a clinic culture grounded in respect, quality, and collaboration

What We’re Looking For

• A proactive self-starter who takes ownership
• Comfortable working in a new environment and solving problems as they arise
• Excited by building processes and improving workflow
• Strong in communication and teamwork
• Passionate about high-quality patient care and client service
• Interested in growing into leadership as the practice expands
• Minimum 2 years of RVT experience preferred
• Comfortable with almost all cases, surgery, and dentals

Compensation
As a start-up, we may not be able to offer a full benefits package immediately, but our goal is to grow into a clinic that offers that! Here is what we will be offering:

• Starting hourly wage $22-30, based on experience and growth potential built in as the clinic expands and stabilizes.
• Pet Discounts for the team (including parasiticides)
• Paid OAVT Dues
• CE and Uniform Allowance
• Annual allowance for medical, vision, and dental care
