Private Practice
We are a Private Practice seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team. This position requires a background in laboratory techniques, technical skills such as blood draws, placing catheters, and taking radiographs.
Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures.
Be familiar with Avimark and comfortable on computers.
Perform laboratory tests, including blood work, urinalysis, and other diagnostic procedures.
Monitor anesthesia and assist Doctor during surgical procedures
Administer medications and vaccinations as directed by the veterinarian.
Monitor the health and behavior of animals during their stay at the clinic.
Maintain accurate medical records for each patient.
Educate pet owners on proper care, nutrition, and preventive health measures.
Ensure cleanliness and organization of the clinic, including sterilization of instruments and equipment.
Experience:
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
Proficiency in laboratory procedures and techniques is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and team members.
Ability to work well under pressure.
