Experienced RVT – No Double-Bookings, Elevated Medicine, and no Corporate Chaos

  • Full Time
  • London
  • $21.91 to $31.29 CAD / Hour

Website Neighbourhood Pet Clinic

Neighbourhood Pet Clinic is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team. In this role, we are seeking a seasoned professional who has mastered the fundamentals and is ready to deepen their clinical impact and shape how veterinary care is delivered.

What you’ll find at NPC:

  • Clinical focus you’ll appreciate: As someone who enjoys retaining challenging cases and values access-to-care, you’ll love our diagnostic imaging department, dentistry suite, and the wide range of soft tissue surgeries we perform in-house. Experience the difference it makes when you can provide more of your patient’s care at the General Practice level.
  • Less chaos, more care: You’ll be working in light-filled, modern spaces, where ringing phones and prescription refills are off your plate. Our communications team and pharmacy technician reduce the need for multi-tasking, so you can focus on the patient in front of you without interruptions.
  • Respect for your time and expertise: We work together to prioritize a schedule with no double-bookings, consistent flow, and a focus on the whole team finishing their day on time.
  • Growth, leadership & flexibility: As an experienced RVT, you likely seek more than a job; you seek a role where your judgment is trusted, your voice heard, and your specialty interests are supported. Whether you already have advanced skills or are ready to develop them, we’ll back you.

What are we looking for?

  • Strong technical skills with 3+ years of clinical experience
  • Actively registered and in good standing with the OAVT
  • Comfortable working with lab equipment and handling samples (IDEXX)
  • High standards for radiographic positioning and acquisition
  • Experienced and detail-oriented in anesthetic protocols, surgical assistance, and post-operative monitoring
  • A passion for client education and communication
  • Flexibility to work at multiple locations within London, Ontario is highly desirable, but not required

Why join us:

  • Competitive pay with opportunities for professional development
  • Work for an independently-owned group of clinics, free from corporate oversight
  • Flexible uniform policy: Your choice of black scrub pants + 3 embroidered shirt options
  • Supportive, collaborative team environment with structured onboarding and training
  • Discounts on veterinary services, including one complimentary annual Membership and pet food at cost (or less) from Royal Canin, Hill’s, or Purina
  • Benefits: A tax-free health spending account for medical expenses, plus additional access to mental health support services
  • 2 Weeks of vacation, available immediately without accrual, increased to 3 weeks of vacation after the first year
  • 2 Paid CE Days
  • 2 Paid Volunteer Days to give back to your community
  • Paid day off for your birthday

Join our team of professionals dedicated to providing exceptional veterinary care in an environment designed for comfort. We look forward to welcoming a new member who shares our commitment to animal health, customer service, and team wellbeing.
