Website Callander Animal Hospital & Wellness Centre

independently owned small animal hospital and wellness centre

Callander Animal Hospital and Wellness Centre (independently owned) has hired another full-time veterinarian and we’re actively seeking a mature, gregarious, tech savvy RVT. Our clinic is known for innovation, evolution, and novel approaches to delivering veterinary medicine.  Our RVT-led virtual appointments (supported by virtual and in-person vets) happen in our brand new 3000 sq ft facility nestled in the trees on a 14 acre property.  The companion to the Wellness Centre is our small animal hospital with over 30 years of service to our community in Callander.  Both facilities boast new blood analyzers and digital cytology to provide excellent and efficient point-of-care to our patients. The hospital has an automated urinalysis machine and sediment analyzer, an HD DR x-ray unit, Mindray E7 ultrasound, dedicated dental suite with xray, and a Class IV therapeutic laser.  The Wellness Centre provides rehab services using our Class IV therapeutic laser and an OASIS underwater treadmill.

We need a dedicated individual with a strong work ethic, ability to multi-task, lifelong learner and great communication skills to join our team of 6 vets, 6 RVTs, and 2 veterinary support staff. Our staff enjoy an excellent benefit package including a generous CE budget and Family Health Spending Account, heavily discounted veterinary care for your pets, and paid professional dues.  Check out our Google reviews, watch the drone tour of our hiking trails, and then send Krystle your resume!  admin@callandervet.ca
