Are you a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) with a passion for anesthesia and a talent for team leadership? Ascentra is looking for a dedicated and experienced RVT to take on a key role in our progressive, fast-paced practice.

Your Role Will Include
– Leading a team of RVTs and veterinary assistants
– Managing anesthesia for routine and advanced oral surgeries (including brachycephalics, geriatrics, and medically complex patients)
– Overseeing patient care from intake through recovery
– Collaborating closely with board-certified veterinary dentists and board-certified anesthesiologists
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
– Advanced anesthesia skills, including induction, monitoring, and recovery
– Comfortable with CRIs, nerve blocks, Fear Free pharmaceuticals, and multi- modal analgesia
– Prior experience working in a referral hospital setting
– Confidence in managing anesthesia protocols for routine and complex procedures
– A leadership mindset, with the ability to support and mentor RVTs and assistants
– Ability to keep detailed and accurate patient records
– Clear, compassionate communication with both clients and coworkers
– A collaborative spirit with a focus on high-quality, patient-centered care

Qualifications:
– Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) in good standing
– 5+ years of clinical experience (referral setting preferred), including anesthesia
– Strong organizational skills and a positive, proactive attitude
– Proven leadership — someone who can lead by example, support team growth, and maintain a positive, efficient work environment
