Website Mac Animal Clinic

Where your pets are our pets

Oakville’s First Fear Free Certified Practice is looking for a Full-Time Registered Veterinary Technician.

Mac Animal Clinic is a privately owned small animal practice in beautiful Oakville. Our clinic offers digital dental and full body radiographs, Cornerstone, wellness plans, anesthetic patient monitoring equipment, separate cat and dog consult rooms, in-house laboratory and a surgical suite. We’re committed to delivering high-quality, individualized care in a boutique setting that offers a personalized experience for every patient. We pride ourselves on closely following up with our patients, and the ideal candidate will genuinely enjoy building relationships with both pets and their families. In addition to strong clinical skills, you need to have excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for this role.

We are a Fear Free Certified practice, and although experience with Fear Free handling is an asset, we are happy to support you with Fear Free training if you’re not already certified. We are looking for a team member who values compassionate care and is eager to grow with our practice. We have an outstanding, close knit team who are both colleagues and friends. We emphasize a practice culture of work-life balance (M-F hours), mutual respect between clients and the team, and ensuring our team is well supported. The well-being of our veterinary team is our highest priority.

Candidates must have successfully passed the VTNE and hold a current OAVT registration. Competitive hourly wage starting at $22, based on experience.

If this sounds like the right fit for your career, please email info@macvets.com to apply. A cover letter is appreciated but not required.

We look forward to hearing from you!
