Website Forty Creek Animal Hospital

We take care.

At Forty Creek Animal Hospital, we know that exceptional veterinary care starts with outstanding client service. That’s where you come in! We’re looking for a Patient Care Coordinator to be the warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable  presence that supports both our clients and their pets.

In some clinics, this role may be called a Customer Service Representative (CSR) or Receptionist, but here, it’s so much more. As a Patient Care Coordinator, you’ll provide an elevated level of service to the people at the other end of the leash, while ensuring the pets in our care receive compassionate, efficient attention.

We operate at a different frequency, and you can feel it when you walk in the door. It doesn’t matter what kind of day it is, we approach every moment, with love, care and attention. We are family owned & operated, and proud of it.

What You’ll Do:
*Be the first and last friendly face our clients see, providing exceptional customer service in person, over the phone, and via email.
*Schedule appointments and surgeries and coordinate patient flow, to ensure smooth operations and accommodate urgent cases.
*Act as a liaison between pet owners and our team.
*Maintain accurate records (we use Avimark;), process payments, and manage administrative tasks with attention to detail and brand.
*Assist in keeping the clinic environment welcoming and stress-free for pets and their people.

What We’re Looking For:
*Experience in the veterinary field is required – and this role is open to CSRs, RVTs or Veterinary Assistants.
*A compassionate, professional, and positive attitude with a genuine love for people and animals, and respect for the bond that holds them together
*Exceptional service skills and the ability to meet people where they’re at, so that people leave our hospital feeling cared about.
*Excellent communication skills – you can explain medical information in an approachable way; read body language; and respond to change and challenge in a positive and upbeat manner.
*A team player mindset with a willingness to learn, grow and have fun.

Why Join Us?
*We are a supportive, collaborative team that values both pet care and client experience, equally
*We offer opportunities for growth and professional development
*We promise a positive, inclusive workplace where your contributions truly make a difference.
