Glenridge Animal Hospital is looking for an RVT to join our team!
This is a maternity leave position – minimum 12 months.
Responsibilities:
Support DVMs for routine visits, urgent care and emergency cases
Keep accurate medical records, answering messages and client communications
Prepare medications, estimates, billing
Comfortable with dental procedures, anesthesia, circulating the operating room and radiographs
Review patient history, prepare flow sheets, anesthetic protocols
Obtain and prepare lab samples
Patient care & management for hospitalized cases
Willingness to learn and take on additional duties as needed
Requirements and skills:
Have an attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Dedication to providing the absolute best patient care
Strong organizational skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to multitask with good time management skills
Exceptional client service
Compassion and consideration for our patients and clients
Attentiveness and the ability to adapt to changing environments
Ability to remain calm and work under pressure and emergency situations
Have a positive attitude and supports a collaborative environment
RVT status in good standing with the OAVT
Compensation Package includes:
Competitive salary from $25 – $31 per hour, dependant on experience
