Job Responsibilities:
– Provide exceptional customer service
– Provide top-notch patient care
– Focus on stress-free handling techniques
– Technical skills, including but not limited to: IV catheter placement, injections, fluid therapy, intubation, dental scale and polish, taking radiographs including dental radiographs, in-hospital treatments
– RVT medical appointments: including client education and minor procedures
– Support DVM: including filling prescriptions, restraint of patients, anaesthetic monitoring
– Assist reception when necessary (Manage incoming calls
Answer voicemails, emails and text messages)
– Invoicing and billing
– Screening/triaging for service needs
– Follow up with clients: phone calls and emails to update DVM on progress
– Document and maintain all confidential client information, service data and patient information
– Ensure all supplies are stocked the pharmacy, treatment area, surgery and dental suite as well as exam rooms
– General cleaning and maintenance duties
Experience and skills:
– Registered Veterinary Technician
