King Animal Hospital is a 60,000 sq ft Equine and Small Animal Referral Hospital located on 50 acres in King City, ON.

Our available roles include Senior Anesthesia RVT, Cardiology RVT, Ophthalmology RVT, Critical Care RVT and Wards RVT.
For the Senior Anesthesia RVT we will require an individual that is a registered veterinary technician with a significant amount of experience in Referral Anesthesia roles (at least four years). VTS certification would be an asset.
All referral roles (Sr. Anesthesia RVT, Cardiology RVT, Ophthalmology RVT) will be scheduled four days per week and 10 hours per day.
Our Intensive Care Unit is 24 x 7 and will require rotating shifts of two days/two nights (12.5 hour shifts) followed by 5 days off.

The successful candidate will be an excellent team player, have a passion for animal care and have the desire to work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
You will ideally have a minimum of 4 years as a Registered Veterinary Technician and at least one year in Referral or Emergency Services. We will invest in training for special candidates with less experience so please do apply!
You will be responsible for providing exceptional care to equine or small animal patients, assisting with surgeries and procedures, administering medications, and performing diagnostic tests. You will work alongside a team of board-certified specialists and experienced veterinarians, utilizing advanced diagnostic equipment to diagnose and treat complex medical cases.
