Dufferin Veterinary Hospital is looking for part-time or full-time registered veterinary technician to join our team who are hard working, compassionate team player.

Your role would include:
– Completion of a Veterinary Technician program
– Strong skills in patient assessment, catheter placement, radiology, venipuncture, pharmacy and anesthesia monitoring
– Surgical preparation, assisting and recovering patients
– Ability to follow direction of medical plan and effectively execute required medical procedures and treatments.
– Ability to multi task and problem solve
– Maintain detailed and accurate patient records
– Advising clients on feeding, enrichment, behaviour, hygiene and general care of companion animals
– Compassionately and respectfully communicating with clients and associate team members for a collaborative approach to patient care
– Other duties as assigned
