We are looking for a passionate RVT who is interested in expanding their career into veterinary rehabilitation. Our growing rehabilitation clinic is seeking a motivated RVT who desires this unique opportunity to develop specialized skills in veterinary rehabilitation.
The right candidate will receive full sponsorship for a recognized veterinary rehabilitation certification program, combined with hands-on mentorship. Once certified, the candidate would resume a full time position in their new role as a veterinary rehabilitation therapist or practitioner (starting at $30 per hour) on a 2 year post-certification commitment period to retain sponsorship benefits.
Role Responsibilities:
– assist with and deliver rehabilitation treatments under supervising therapist or practitioner and obtained veterinary consent.
– support therapies such as laser therapy, hydrotherapy and therapeutic exercises.
– monitor patient progress and maintain detailed records
– educate pet owners on home exercise programs
– assist with patient handling and daily clinic operations
– obtain certification through a reputable veterinary rehab certificate program (takes approx. 10-12 months to complete)
– 2 year commitment period following certificate completion to retain sponsorship benefits.

What we’re looking for:
– RVT in good standing with the OAVT
– Passion for animal recovery, mobility, and pain management
– Interest in learning rehabilitation techniques (laser therapy, therapeutic exercise, underwater treadmill therapy)
– Positive and strong client communication skills
