Registered Veterinary Technician *NEW/UPCOMING GRADS WELCOME*
We are a privately owned clinic in the core of Uptown Toronto looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Registered Veterinary Technician to join our growing team. We are a registered Feline Friendly Practice and practice care and compassion with working with all species .
Our RVTs are vital to our practice and are involved in all aspects of the clinic including but not limited to:
- physical exams
- laboratory work
- anesthesia
- COHAT procedures
- radiography
- surgical preparation
- client communication
Ideal candidates will have:
- Technical skills; venipuncture, catheter placement, radiology, anesthesia monitoring, physical examinations and patient assessment, dentistry, nutrition and pharmacy
- Surgical preparation, assisting and patient recovery
- Ability to keep detailed and accurate patient records
- Compassionate care for our hospitalized patient
- Ability to mange multiple priorities simultaneously
- Ability to problem solve
- Excellent communication skills
- Diploma in a Veterinary Technician program
- Registration with the OAVT
