Registered Veterinary Technician

We are pleased to offer a part-time to full-time position for a Registered Veterinary Technician.

We are looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic individual to join our team, someone who wants to share their experience and continue to grow along with us. You will work in a very supportive environment to offer exceptional medicine and client service. We encourage our RVT’s to use their skills to the fullest, including starting appointments, client communication and education, induction and maintenance of anesthesia, performing dental prophy’s and assistance with extensive dental procedures.

We are a busy growing practice located in a beautiful rural setting on Rice lake, 15 minutes north of the 401 and Port Hope. Our hospital is well equipped with digital full body x-ray, digital dental x-ray, in house blood analyzers and AVImark software.

We offer generous staff discounts for your pets, a uniform and continuing education allowance, health and dental benefits for you as well as paid RVT dues. We are closed on Saturday’s and we use the Kawartha Veterinary Emergency Clinic for our after hours emergencies.

We take concerns surrounding covid-19 seriously, our staff health and safety is a priority for us as well as continuing care and availability to our patient’s and client’s. We continue to work with curbside service for appointments and medication/food pick-up’s, enhanced cleaning and mandatory mask use.
